Eider : philosophy

The mountains have been our source of inspiration since 1962. This passion brings us together and fuels our brand values: it drives our research, encourages our creativity, enriches our daily lives and renews our enthusiasm and imagination.

Our technical advisors represent the Eider philosophy, closely linked to the alpine world: the quest of all great adventurers. Mike Horn, Karine Ruby or Thomas Diet are good examples. If they are all part of the Eider family, it is because they share these goals: broaden their horizons, go and discover other peoples, and themselves, whatever the latitude or altitude.

Eider carries this view of the world from Peru to the Arctic, from Everest to the French Alps: authenticity, open-mindedness, commitment, and above all, the humanity essential to adventure.

That is why, since 2004, Eider has committed itself to fair trade. It is the best way of showing Eider’s commitment to others and to the world, our respect for cultural differences and to develop a spirit that is more than just sports.

Lovers of pure sensations, of shared experiences, of liberating and emotional moments, Eider equipment is made for you, by people like you.
