David took up snowboarding as soon as it came onto the scene in the Chamonix valley. A few years later he began competitions in the downhill disciplines before concentrating exclusively on the Boardercross events of the World Cup during the golden era of the ISF. With a few friends, he later organised various events and in 2002 released his first production: A la Cabane du Trient.
In addition to snowboarding, he’s also into electronica music with his brother, and performs as a percussionist in numerous clubs all over Europe.
In 2002, David combined his extra-snowboard activities in a company called D-Syn, that he created with some collaborators.
Today, he keeps winter-time for snowboarding and dedicates the rest of the year to different events. D-Syn is considered as an innovative and fruitful source of synergy (in Switzerland) through the organisation of events such as the Fête de la Montagne, Slide and Sound or the production of Hillexplorer magazine.
