With the Georgia Sat project now finished for Lionel Daudet and his team, it’s now time to assess the expedition and congratulate the team... It’s also time to head off for a bonus summit: Sugartop.
After having spent Christmas in South Georgia, our mountaineers wanted to re-embark on an adventure to reach the summit of Sugartop, an ascent that the team failed to do last time due to overly difficult conditions: "Because of the very strong wind, about 80 km/h, we had a few rock falls under the ridge... That’s how it is in Georgia: it’s difficult to do difficult things!", so says Lionel.

Before heading off for Ushuaia, the crew changed and welcomed aboard the famous reporter from Equipe Magazine Benoît Heimermann. After a 10-day journey in rough seas, the entire crew rejoined the "modern" world.
